Much More than a Yoga Studio

Here at Bodhi Tree, Sangha is at the core of our beliefs. Sangha is the Sanskrit word for community and we believe that together as a community, we can help raise each other up!

Whether you are looking to move, stretch or strengthen your body, to dive deeper into your spiritual yogic practice, or just sit with a cup of tea and some conversation… Bodhi Tree Yoga would like to welcome you hOMe ॐ

Covid-19 News and protocols

Here is what we are doing to help keep us all safe in these times

  • All classes are now limited to 8 students
  • Pre-registration for classes is now required (we cannot guarantee a space in class if you “drop-in”)
  • We have reduced the number of classes offered in order to clean/disinfect properly
  • After each class, the floors and all common surfaces are disinfected (which include door handles, bathrooms, light switches, counters)
  • We encourage you to bring in your own mat, props and water bottle
  • Props are available to borrow, however, you must leave them on the floor after class so that they can be put into isolation and be disinfected after use
  • Spots are pre-marked on the floor in the studio. Please place your mat within the markings to ensure a proper safe spacing practice
  • Masks are required coming into the studio and in all common areas. You may take off your mask only once you are settled onto your own mat space in the studio and ready for practice. Once stepping away from the mat space again, your mask must be on
  • If you feel unwell, have any symptoms related to Covid-19, have been in contact with someone who has Covid-19 or have been travelling outside of the country in the last 14 days – STAY HOME! We will happily connect with you virtually for a home practice if you would like and will be here at the studio waiting for when you feel better and are safe and healthy!

What to Know Before Attending Your First Class

We know that coming to yoga for the first time can often be a stressful time… but don’t worry, here are a few tips to help make this an easier journey!

  • Aim to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the class start time. This will give you time to fill in the new student form and to tour around the studio.
  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. Keep in mind you may have to tuck in loose-fitting shirts if folding forward.
  • Yoga is typically practised without shoes or socks on, however, if shoes are required for yourself, please bring clean indoor running shoes.
  • We have yoga mats here that you are welcome to borrow at no charge!
  • Forgot your water bottle? Don’t sweat… we have reverse osmosis water on tap, feel free to grab a mug or cup and fill up.
  • Meet your teacher and let them know that this is your first class! They will give you helpful tips for the class and be happy to answer and questions you have.
  • **Please note that we are a SCENT FREE studio! Please be aware that some students have scent sensitivities and/or allergies!**

Last but not least, have fun!
